Congratulations to Artsadmin – and to the other thirty-eight recipients – on winning a small capital grant from Arts Council England!
Artsadmin will receive £125,000 to turn its existing data into a key strategic asset, from which it can improve its own performance and help build capacity within the sector. It selected Golant Media Ventures to serve as a digital advisor and data specialist to support the project.
The project will build upon our previous work with Artsadmin, which developed a vision for getting value from data.
As well as helping to design the project, Golant Media Ventures worked with Artsadmin to engage stakeholders in other arts and cultural organisations – and gauge their requirements and challenges around data – running a round-table discussion in July 2015 which drew attendees from Bush Theatre, Hackney Empire, Improbable, Live Art Development Agency, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Siobhan Davies Dance, The Space and Unicorn Theatre.
We look forward to working with Artsadmin on this project, helping them put data at the centre of what they do.
Update: Several months in, here's some news from Artsadmin on how the project is progressing.
